United Chefs of America is a community and quick response program designed to connect chefs, food assistance, and disaster relief parties quickly and efficiently in the case of a natural disaster or accident. The ability to act quickly is pivotal in responding with the utmost urgency and a database of registered volunteers is the most optimal solution. Once registered depending on the individual's volunteer designation, if a disaster has occurred the system automatically notifies them and is able to route and coordinate personnel efficiently through a primary CO. Once in place the system is able to begin notification within hours of a disaster.
The branding solution was derived from multiple concepts combined into a more cohesive final product. The primary logo mark is a combination chefs-hat / fork, cufflink, and outstretched hand bringing together the chef, American and relief ideologies into one.
